▪️ Black Cumin, scientifically known as Nigella sativa, is native to Western Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. This small flowering plant produces fruits with tiny black seeds, from which black cumin oil is extracted. Black cumin oil is cold-pressed from the seeds, which ensures that its powerful chemical compounds are preserved

▪️ The Ho Tree, known as Cinnamomum camphora, is native to Japan and Taiwan and is revered for its beautiful wood and aromatic leaves. Historically, its wood was used in temples and other important buildings in Japan. The leaves were traditionally used for their aromatic properties. The essential oil is steam distilled from the tree’s leaves to preserve the delicate balance of its chemical components. Historically, the Bundjalung Aboriginal people of coastal New South Wales applied the leaves directly to the skin for a cooling effect

Also called mountain pepper, litsea trees have pale, lemon-scented flowers and small fruits that look like little peppers – hence the name. The strong citrus aroma of Litsea essential oil creates an invigorating atmosphere

▪️ Australia is home to over 700 species of fast-growing, flowering evergreens known as eucalyptus. The main chemical component of eucalyptus essential oil is eucalyptol (1,8-cineole), which is responsible for the essential oil’s cleansing properties

▪️ Geranium, a member of the genus Pelargonium, is grown for its beauty and serves as a staple in the perfume industry. There are over 200 varieties of Pelargonium flowers, but only a few are used to extract essential oil. The use of geranium oil dates back to Ancient Egypt, when the Egyptians used it to beautify their skin and hair. During the Victorian era, fresh geranium leaves were placed on formal dining tables as decorative elements and were eaten as a fresh sprig.
